The Green Rural Product Certificate (CPR-Verde) is a credit instrument to finance activities of restoration and forestry conservation in rural properties, including the Permanent Preservation Areas (PPA) and Legal Reserve (LR).
Among the Green Rural Product Certificate (CPR-Verde) beneficiaries are rural producers, their cooperatives and associations, sustainable input suppliers, RPPNs owners and Conservation Units managing bodies. Among the investors are the companies that seek to neutralize their carbon emissions or invest in ESG* actions.
According to the Decree that regulates Green Rural Product Certificate (CPR-Verde), Decree No. 10.828/2021, it is authorized to be issued for rural products obtained from activities related to the conservation and recuperation of native forests and their biomes, which result in:
- Decrease of greenhouse gas emission
- Maintenance or increase forestry carbon stock
- Reduction of deforestation and native vegetation degradation
- Preservation of Biodiversity
- Water resources conservation
- Soil conservation
- Other ecosystem benefits
We are the first company registered in B3 (Brazilian Stock Exchange) to issue Green Rural Product Certificate (CPR-Verde).
